Molino is a census -designated place (CDP ) in Escambia County in the U.S. state of Florida with 1,277 inhabitants ( 2010).
Geography
The CDP is affected by the U.S. Highway 29 and is located about 35 km north of Pensacola.
Demographics
According to the 2010 census, the then 1,277 inhabitants distributed in 518 households. The population density was 70.9 inh. / Km ². 75.3 % of the population were white, 20.7% African American, 1.4% Native American and 0.5 % Asian Americans. 0.9% were members of other ethnic groups and 1.3% in different ethnic groups. 2.0% of the population were Hispanic or Latino.
In 2010, children under the age of 18 and 30.6 % of all households lived in 36.5 % of all households with persons at least 65 years. 73.4 % of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring ).
