Morschwiller

The French community Morschwiller ( German Morsch hamlet ) is a broad-based agricultural zone in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. It has 565 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) and is a member of the Communauté de communes de la Région de Haguenau. The village is crossed by the departmental road D419 which leads past Grassendorf and connects Morschwiller with Ringeldorf and Hutten village. The first historical mention of the settlement dates back to the year 771, it was in the Middle Ages to the German Reich villages.
