Bitschhoffen
The French community Bitschhoffen ( German Bitsch Mayrhofen ) is located in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region north of the conurbation Pfaffenhoffen. It has 458 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). It is in no Communauté de communes. An important source of income is agriculture. The fields are accessible through side streets.
History
Bitschhoffen is a former kingdom village. During the French Revolution it was a village of Bailliage de Haguenau, the bailiwick of Haguenau.
