National anthem of Mongolia

The National Anthem of Mongolia in 1950 emerged. The music was of Bilegiin Damdinsiiren (1919-1991) and Luwsandschambyn Mördordsch (1915-1996) composed the lyrics were written by Tsendiin Damdinsiiren ( 1908-1988 ).

While the melody remained unchanged since the introduction of the anthem, the text was repeatedly subject to change: As one written by Dsewegmiddiin Gaitaw and Tschuilyn Tschimid version 1961 was brought into force in the communist orientation of the country was emphasized. In the course of democratization of Mongolia the original text of 1950 was reintroduced in 1991, but without the central stanza, contained the praises of Communist leader Lenin, Stalin, Sükhbaatar and Choibalsan. On 6 July 2006, the Mongolian Parliament passed a modified version of the original text, in memory of Genghis Khan.

Forerunner of today's national anthem of Mongolia was the 1924-1950 valid " Mongol International " ( Mongol Intyörnatsional ), with the same fight song of the international labor movement, however, only the title had together.
