Nico Verdonck

Nico Verdonck ( born December 5, 1985 in Brussels) is a Belgian racing driver.

Verdonck began his motorsport career in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2002. In 2003, the young gun in the Belgian Formula Renault and immediately won the runner-up title in the series. With only one year of experience in Formula racing changed Verdonck, 2004 in the International Formula 3000 championship, which was held as part of the Formula 1, for Belgian Team Astro Mega. The Belgian, who was only 18 years old, became the youngest driver in the history of Formula 3000th He reached as best finish an eighth place, finishing at the end of the season 15th in the standings and was thus in front of his team members Jan Heylen and Olivier Tielemans. 2005 Verdonck was neither a cockpit in the GP2 Series, the successor series F3000, nor in any other racing series.
