Niki Aebersold

Niki Aebersold ( born July 5, 1972 in Freimettigen ) is a retired Swiss professional road bicycle racer.

Niki Aebersold began his professional career in 1996 in which just one year existing team PMU Romand - Bepsa. In 1997 and 1998 he drove team for Swiss Post. There he was able to celebrate his first successes and in 1998 Swiss champion in the road race. In 1999, he signed a contract with the Dutch team Rabobank. From 2001 to 2003 Aebersold drove the German team Coast, on the 2003 also joined Jan Ullrich.
