Attilio Moresi

Attilio " Tilo " Moresi ( born July 26, 1937 in Viganello; † 25 April 1993 Valcolla ) was a Swiss racing driver.

The first big success of Attilio Moresi 1953 was the victory at the Giro del Mendrisio, even as an amateur. Two years later he became a Swiss national road champion of the amateurs. As a professional, he won the 1961 Grand Prix of Lugano as well as the overall standings of the Tour de Suisse. In 1963 he was again Swiss national road champion, this time in the pros.

Moresi took ten times participated in the " Tour de Suisse " and five times each at the Tour de Romandie and the Giro d' Italia. Three times he also started in the Tour de France, but never reached Paris.
