Nikolai Mikhailovich Budarin (Russian Николай Михайлович Бударин born April 29, 1953 in Kirya, Chuvashia ) is a Russian cosmonaut.
Space flights
Mir EO -19
June 27, 1995 Nikolai Budarin flew as part of the regular crew Mir EO -19 became the first Russian Space newbie with a Space Shuttle to Mir. He came up with the spacecraft Soyuz TM -31 on September 11, 1995 back to Earth.
Mir EO -25
From January 30 to August 25, 1998, Budarin as flight engineer for tammbesatzung Mir EO -25 to the Mir space station.
ISS Expedition 6
From 25 November 2002 to 3 May 2003, he was in the scope of the ISS Expedition 6 aboard the International Space Station.
Policy
In 2007 he was elected to the Duma, the Russian parliament.
