Norrtälje Municipality

Norrtälje is a municipality (Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish Stockholm County and the historic province of Uppland. The main town of the municipality is Norrtälje.

Geography

The municipality is located in the territory of Roslagen. These are the archipelago off the coast of Upplands and the adjacent mainland. The communities Norrtälje and Östhammar now make up the largest part of Roslagen. The Church is the largest of the countries and comprises about one- third of the area.
