Nový Bydžov

Nový Bydžov ( German Neubidschow ) is a town of 7,308 inhabitants in the region Hradec Králové Region, Czech Republic.

History

The new city Bydschow the river Cidlina was founded in 1305 due to lack of water in the old city on a landscaped hill Bydschow and received transfer their civic rights. The royal city was later sold by the debt-ridden King John of Luxembourg. 1569 acquired the crown fiefs city again, which then gave his wife as a dowry, King of Bohemia. In the 18th century Nový Bydžov was raised to the residence of the named after her until the 20th century the region.
