Oldřichov (Přerov District)

Oldřichov ( German Ulrichowitz, 1939-1945 Ullrich village) is a village in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers northeast of Přerov and belongs to Okres Přerov.

Geography

Oldřichov is on the left of the Bečva in the Moravian Gate. The village is situated between the creek and the Libuška Bečva at the northern foot of the Podbeskydská pahorkatina ( Vorbeskidenhügelland ) associated ridge Záhoří. South-east rises the Přísahanec (333 m).

Neighboring towns are Rybáře, Osek nad Bečvou and Chabrov in the north, Lipník and Nové Dvory in the northeast, Hlinsko in the east, Kudlov, Kladníky, Sisma and Prusínky the southeast, Sušice in the south, Radslavice, Grymov and Prosenice the southwest, Proseničky, Buk and Podolší Mlýn in the west and Radvanice, Haltýře and Hliníky in the northwest.

History

The village was created on 21 April 1787 the course of Raabisation by the rule Tršice in the corridors of the court Sušice. Each of the 16 farmers were allocated (4.8 ha) 24 bushels country. Was named the new village by the notary of the Olomouc chapter, Karl Ulrich, as Ulrychowitz or Ulrychovice. In the formation of the land allocated to the cadastre Ulrychowitz 1817 Sušice. Until the mid-19th century Ulrychowitz remained subservient always Tršice.

After the abolition of patrimonial Ulrichov / Ulrichowitz formed in 1850 a district of the municipality Sušice in the District Commission Kremsier. 1869, the village had 105 inhabitants in 1880 there were 121 on May 1, 1874 Great fire destroyed most of the houses of the village. Since 1880, the village belongs to the district Prerau. In Rybáře in 1900 was a wooden bridge over the Bečva, previously led northwest of Ulrichov a ford across the river and at Rybáře a ferry. Between 1903 and 1905 carried out works on regulation of Bečva. In 1910 lived in Ulrichov 142 people. 1910, the road was built to Osek and in the years 1920 and 1921, the road to Sušice. Since 1920 the place has the name Oldřichov. In the early morning of 8 May 1945, the Wehrmacht sawed off the Bečvabrücke, in the afternoon, the Red Army occupied the place. 1957 Oldřichov broke loose from Sušice and formed its own community. Together with Sušice and Grymov Oldřichov was incorporated in 1974 after Radslavice. Since 1990, the community is Oldřichov again. During the floods of 7 July 1997 27 houses of the village of the Bečva and Libuška were flooded, severe damage was caused, among others, the chapel, the Culture House and the village shop. Oldřichov today consists of 32 houses. Ethnographic the village belongs to Hanna.

Attractions

  • Chapel of Sts. Philip and James in the town square, it was built 1899-1900 in place of a wooden bell tower. On 1 May 1902, she was ordained.

  • Statue of the Virgin Mary of Svatý Hostýnské, on the road to Osek, it was created in 1935
  • Statue of St. Joseph with the baby Jesus on the road to Sušice. She was formerly in Osek and was moved in 1960 to its present location.
