Olivier Philippaerts

Olivier Philippaerts ( born July 30, 1993 Genk, Limburg) is a Belgian show jumper.

Career

He was Belgian champion of the Pony Riders in 2005 and competed at the European Championships. In 2008 he won silver at the Belgian Junior Championships, the European Championships, he finished eighth. In 2009 he finished the Grand Prix of Valencia, a CSI ** fourth place.

Olivier Philippaerts was in 2010 in the French Jardy European Champion Junior. At the European Championships 2011 in Comporta he won as a team with his brother Nicola team gold for young riders. Olivier Philippaerts comes from an equestrian family, his father is the internationally successful show jumper Ludo Philippaerts. His twin brother Nicola Philippaerts rides internationally. His two younger brothers Anthony and Thibault Philippaerts riding pony jumping tournaments. His mother Veronique is known as the Belgian dressage rider. He lives with his parents and his three brothers on the family-owned riding facility in Meeuwen - Gruitrode.
