Community structure

The municipality includes the village Oetisheim Oetisheim, the hamlet Erlenbach, Corres and Schoenberg and the courts Haldenhof and Riding School.

History

Oetisheim ( in the local dialect: Aize ) was first mentioned as 783 Autinesheim in the Lorsch codex documented. Since 1285 the monastery Maulbronn Vogt had the right since 1376 also has jurisdiction over the estates of the Knights in Oetisheim. In the years 1369 and 1370 more goods, including the forest at Oetisheim, in the possession of the monastery went through. This was Maulbronn landlord of the place.

In the Bavarian- Palatine War of Succession Oetisheim was looted and burned. As a result of this war, it came with the cloister Maulbronn in 1504 to Württemberg.
