Ovidiu Dănănae

Ovidiu Liviu Dănănae ( born August 26, 1985 in Craiova ) is a Romanian football player at the position of right-back. Since summer 2013 he is at Apollon Limassol in the Cypriot First Division under contract.

Career

Dănănae began his career in 2003 at CSM Resita, when he was brought there in the first team. Already in its first year, the club was relegated from the second division. Then joined the full-back in 2004 to the then first division club FC Universitatea Craiova. Also, where he dismounted in its first year, the club played a year later in the second division.

There, the re-emergence could be managed, and in Dănănaes Erstligasaison second and the third could be achieved ninth place. The 2008 /09 was the most successful of the full-back in Craiova: The club finished seventh and only just scraped past the European Cup places, as he had against the Sixth Steaua Bucharest in the direct duels in the cold. At the end of the 2010/11 season, he was relegated with his team in the Liga II. He left Craiova and switched to Tom Tomsk in the Russian Premjer League. There was rarely used and returned to the beginning of 2012 back to Romania, where he hired at record champions Steaua Bucharest. However, in the second half of 2011/12 he came only to use one. After the end of his contract in 2012 for half a year has been without a club, signed him before CS Turnu Severin in the winter break. After the 2012/13 season, he was relegated with his new club. Then moved to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.

National

After successful season 2008/ 09 he celebrated his debut for the Romanian national team in the fall of 2009. In the friendly against Hungary Dănănae played 39 minutes before being substituted against Vasile Maftei. By August 2010 National Coach Razvan Lucescu put him at irregular intervals.
