Patrick Mower

Patrick Mower ( born September 12, 1940 in Oxford, England as Patrick Archibald Shaw ) is a British actor.

Life

Mower attended the Grammar School and initially began an apprenticeship as a draftsman at the British Motor Corporation. However, he opted for an acting career and studied at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art mid-1960s, he had his first guest appearances in British television series. He made his feature film debut in 1968 in The Devil, a horror film of Hammer Studios with Christopher Lee in the title role. In the 1970s, he starred in three crime series Police officers; 1970-1972 in Callan from 1973 to 1974 in The specialists and 1977-1978 in Target. He stepped into the savior of the nation, a film of the Carry-on ... film series on, played in the British Spaghetti Western sub- lethal sun with Richard Roundtree and 1971 was next to Uschi Glas in a film adaptation of Black Beauty to be seen. Since 2000, in the soap opera Emmerdale, he plays the role of Rodney Blackstock.

Mower was in the 1980s romantically involved with actress Suzanne Danielle. In his autobiography, published in 2007, he expressed the conjecture to have been born on 12 September 1938 also his birthplace is variously given as Pontypridd, South Wales.
