Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma ( born July 28, 1987 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands), also known as Pedro, is a Spanish footballer. The winger is since 2008 under contract at FC Barcelona.
Association
Pedro played for CD San Isidro and came in 2004 as a 17 -year-old to FC Barcelona. In the 2007 /08 season he was a key player in the B team. With seven goals in 37 games, he contributed to the rise of the Tercera División to the Segunda División B at.
His first league game for the first team, he played 12 January 2008 against Real Murcia, as he came off the bench with the score at 4-0 in the 88th minute for Samuel Eto'o.
Not most of them over the full season - - In the 2008/09 season, in which Barça took the triple, he played 14 competitive games and did not score.
As Barça 16 August 2009 at Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of the Spanish Supercup denied Pedro was man of the match. On July 7, 2011 Pedro extended his contract with Barca until 2016, while his transfer fee to EUR 150 million was committed.
National
On 20 May 2010 Pedro was nominated by Vicente del Bosque for the Spanish national team squad for the Soccer World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
His international debut was on May 29 in the World Cup warm-up match against Saudi Arabia when he came off the bench in the 3-2 victory of his team in the 60th minute. Shortly before the start of the World Cup Pedro scored his first international goal. In the game against Poland on 8 June, he scored the 6-0 final score.

With his goal in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2009 Pedro football history has written. As the first professional in the world he was within a year scorer in six different competitions. Before the Club World Cup Pedro had already achieved in the Spanish league, the Cup, the Champions League and the Spanish and European Super Cup matches.
