Pégomas

Pégomas is a commune in the Alpes -Maritimes with 7047 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

Pégomas lies in the valley of Siagne few kilometers north-west of Cannes on the road D9 to Grasse.

The neighboring communities of Pégonas the town of Grasse in the north, Mouans -Sartoux in the northeast, La Roquette- sur -Siagne in the southeast, Mandelieu- la -Napoule in the south, the west and Tanneron Auribeau -sur -Siagne in the northwest.

Tourism

Pégomas located on the road of mimosa, also called mimosa road ( frz: La Route du Mimosa; engl: Golden Route. ). It is a 130 km long tourist route that runs along the Côte d' Azur from Bormes -les -Mimosas from over Rayol- Canadel- sur -Mer, Sainte -Maxime, Saint- Raphaël, Mandelieu- la -Napoule, Tanneron and pégomas to leads to Grasse. From January to mid-March are originally coming from Australia yellow flowering acacia plants in bloom.
