The People's Democratic Organisation for Independence and Socialism ( PDOIS ) ( German People's Democratic Organisation for Independence and Socialism ) is a radical socialist political party in Gambia. The motto of the party is: English " Liberty, dignity and Prosperity " = " freedom, dignity and prosperity."

History

In the presidential elections of 18 October 2001 their leader Sidia Jatta came to the fifth place with 3.2 percent of the vote. In the last parliamentary elections for the National Assembly on 17 January 2002, the party won three of 48 seats.
