Písek (Hradec Králové District)

Pisek ( German Pisek ) is a town in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers east of Chlumec nad Cidlinou and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Pisek is on the left side of the creek Bystřice Starovodský creek on the East Bohemian panel. East of the village are two large lakes. In the south of the railway line Hradec Králové nad Cidlinou - Chlumec runs; the local station is called " Nove Mesto nad Cidlinou ".

History
