Poison'd! ( German: poisoned, " made toxic" here in the meaning of the album only contains cover versions of other artists ) is the title of the published 2007 eighth studio album by American glam metal band Poison. It is also the first studio album since 2000, which the band released again at Capitol Records.
Formation
The songs contained on the album is a collection of specially recorded for this release songs that were produced by Don Was, and securities which the Group had already recorded with other producers and published on other sources. The titles produced by Don Was is the first eight and the last song of the album. The title 1-8 were recorded at Henson Recording Studios, song 13 ( We're an American Band) was formed in 2005 at Capitol Studios.
Other participating producers were Rick Rubin, with Poison the Kiss song Rock ' N' Roll All Nite had recorded in 1987 for the soundtrack of the film Less Than Zero, Thom Panunzio, with the 2002 Squeeze Box for the Poison album was recorded Hollyweird, Ric Browde, who in 1987 produced with the band a demo version of the song You Do not Mess Around With Jim, which was remastered for release on this album, as well as Tom Werman, with the aid of the cover version of Your Mama Do not Dance by Poison album Open Up and Say ... Ahh! was born.
All songs that had already been published previously on other albums that were for publication on Poison'd! also remastered.

The album reached # 32 on the Billboard 200 Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote for Allmusic, the production of Don Was was " stronger than earlier material of the band, Bret Michaels' vote against something rough ", but the album was " still as a product of Poison recognizable. " Erlewine rated the songs vary greatly and notes the album was" an unbalanced selection, but make more fun than other new Poison albums in recent memory. "
