Põltsamaa Parish
Põltsamaa is an Estonian rural municipality in the county Jõgeva with an area of 416.9 km ². It has 4441 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).

Structure
The rural community Põltsamaa includes the villages Adavere, Alastvere, Annikvere, Esku, Kaavere, Kablaküla, Kaliküla, doldrums, Kamari, Kuningamäe, Lebavere, Lustivere, Mõhküla, Mällikvere, Neanurme, Nõmavere, Pauastvere, Pilu, Pudivere, Puduküla, Puiatu, Rõstla, Räsna, Sulustvere, Tõrenurme, Umbusi, Vitsjärve, Võhmanõmme, Võisiku and Väike- Kamari. The administrative headquarters is located in the city Põltsamaa ( German: Oberpahlen ).
Culture and sights
Particularly worth seeing are the estates of Adavere ( built in 1893, today school and library ), Lustivere ( built in the Neo-Gothic style ) and Võisiku (now a nursing home ). Owner of Võisiku was the German - Balt Timothy Eberhard von Bock, the main character in Jaan Kross ' historical novel The Crazy of the Tsar.
