Prince George of Cambridge

HRH Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge ( born July 22, 2013, London) is the first child of Prince William and his wife Catherine. As a great-grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, he is a member of the House of Windsor and the House of Schleswig -Holstein -Sonderburg- Glücksburg.

The Washington Post described him as the most famous baby in the world ( english the world 's most famous baby ). He was before the announcement of his name in the media often referred to as Royal Baby or Baby Cambridge.

Birth and life

On 3 December 2012, the St. James 's Palace announced the pregnancy Catherines. The birth took place in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London; there also Prince William was born. George was born on July 22, 2013 at 16:24 clock (local time) to the world.

He lives with his parents in apartment 1A of Kensington Palace, which was once inhabited by Princess Margaret.

Even before the birth of the heir to the throne was expected that these (mainly through tourism, souvenir sales and festivities associated with the birth ) generated a turnover of 260 million pounds.
