Proložac

Proložac is a town in Dalmatia.

Proložac part of Split-Dalmatia County and has 3,802 inhabitants ( 2011), the five associated localities ( Donji Proložac, Gornji Proložac, Postranje, Ričice, Šumet ) live.

Culture

Proložac offers various sporting, theatrical and musical events. The community is known nationwide for its performance of the birth of Jesus in the river Suvaja, not far from the center of the community. Živé jaslice, the name of the performance, attract numerous devotees from the near and distant surroundings (including from Hercegovina ) to Proložac.

The third division side NK Mladost the Croatian Football League is located in the center of Donji Proložac.
