Province of Pistoia

The Pistoia ( Italien. Provincia di Pistoia) province is a province of Tuscany. Capital is Pistoia. It has 287 445 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in 22 municipalities covering an area of 965 km ².

The province is bordered on the north by Emilia -Romagna ( Modena and Bologna), on the east by the province of Prato, in the south of the province of Florence and to the west by the province of Lucca.
