Cutigliano

Cutigliano is a municipality with 1547 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Pistoia in the Tuscany region.

Geography

The village is located about 23 km northwest of the provincial capital of Pistoia and about 55 km north- west of the regional capital Florence in the climatic classification of Italian communities in Zone E, ​​2901 GG.

Cutigliano is located in the mountain chain of the Apennines tosco emiliano on the south side of the mountain Libro Aperto (1937 m) and borders on the region of Emilia -Romagna ( Modena ). History

In the year 997 Cutigliano was a small village and belonged to the municipality of Lizzano.
