The Town of Richwood is one of 16 Towns in Richland County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, the Town of Richwood 533 inhabitants.
Town has a fundamentally different meaning than in other English-speaking area in Wisconsin. Rather, it corresponds to the usual in the other U.S. states townships that make up the next smallest administrative unit of the County.
Geography
The Town of Richwood is located in southwest Wisconsin on the north shore of the Wisconsin River, a left tributary of the Mississippi. The border with Iowa is located approximately 45 km west. After Minnesota is about 75 km in the west-north- westerly direction; to Illinois and it is 100 km to the south.
The geographical coordinates of the center of the Town of Richwood are 43 ° 14'11 " north latitude and 90 ° 36'34 " west longitude. It extends over an area of 109.9 km ², spread over 108.0 km ² land and 1.9 km ² water surface.

Traffic
The Wisconsin State Highway 60 runs along the Wisconsin River. The County Highway X leaves on a bridge over the Wisconsin River, the Town of Richwood towards the south neighboring Grant County. In addition, run nor the County Highway F, S, and M through the area of Town. All other roads are minor roads and partly unpaved roadways.
With the Richland Airport is around 40 km east of the Town, a small airfield.
