The Town of Marietta is one of eleven Towns in Crawford County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, the Town of Marietta 470 inhabitants.
Town has a fundamentally different meaning than in other English-speaking area in Wisconsin. Rather, it corresponds to the usual in the other U.S. states townships that make up the next smallest administrative unit of the County.
Geography
The Town of Marietta is located in southwest Wisconsin on the north shore of the Wisconsin River, a left tributary of the Mississippi. This constitutes about 40 km to the west extending border with Iowa. To the west, the Town of the Kickapoo River. After Minnesota is about 75 km north west direction; the border with Illinois 85 runs south.

By Town leads in a north-south direction of the U.S. Highway 61 The Wisconsin State Highway 60 runs along the Wisconsin River while passing through the western part of the Town of Marietta territory in north-south direction of the Wisconsin State Highway 131. All other roads are minor roads and partly unpaved roadways.
With the Boscobel Airport is located about 10 east a small airfield. The next airports are the Dubuque Regional Airport in Iowa ( some 105 km south), the La Crosse Regional Airport ( about 120 km north- north-west ) and the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison Wisconsin's capital city ( some 130 km to the east ).
