Rietzneuendorf-Staakow

Rietzneuendorf- Staakow [ ko ː ː - ʃta ] ( Lower Nowa Wjas psi RecE Stoki ) is a municipality in the district of Dahme -Spreewald in Brandenburg and part of the Office under Spreewald.

It was created on December 31, 2001, from the voluntary merger of the previously independent municipalities Rietzneuendorf- Friedrichshof ( Lower Nowa Wjas psi RecE Frycowy Dvor ) and Staakow ( Lower Stoki ).

History

District Rietzneuendorf- Friedrichshof

In 1455 the Wendish place Rietzneuendorf is mentioned by the name " Nuwendorf ". In a document of 1460, the name " Nawendorf " is called, pointing to the newly created settlement. In order to specify this new settlement was given the nickname of the small, leading through the village river " Rietze ," which led once in the Dahme.
