River of Dreams is the twelfth and so far last studio album of pop U.S. musician Billy Joel.

Formation

In its entirety, the "River of Dreams" presented significantly more serious than its predecessor, as many pieces of trust, long-lasting love, but also betrayal and jealousy act. According to rumors the musician took his inspiration in the composition of songs like " All About Soul" and "The Great Wall of China" from the quarrels with Frank Weber, his former manager and ex- brother in law who is alleged to have tried money of the musician to suppress and hide this fact dubious accounting practices.

The album cover was designed by Billy Joel's then- wife, the former model Christie Brinkley.

Both the music and the lyrics of all the tracks were written by Billy Joel.
