Robert C. Morlino

Robert Charles Morlino ( born December 31, 1946 in Scranton ) is an American clergyman and Bishop of Madison.

Life

Robert Charles Morlino joined the Congregation of the Jesuits and received on 1 June 1974, the ordination. He was incardinated on 26 October 1983 in the Clergy of the Diocese of Kalamazoo.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on July 6, 1999 Bishop of Helena. He received his episcopal consecration, the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America, Gabriel Montalvo Higuera, on 21 September of the same year; Co-consecrators were Paul Vincent Donovan, retired bishop of Kalamazoo, and John George Vlazny, Archbishop of Portland in Oregon.

On 23 May 2003 he was appointed Bishop of Madison and introduced into the office on 1 August of the same year.
