Roberto Mussi ( born August 25, 1963 in Massa) is an Italian former footballer who was active during his playing career from 1981 to 1999 for U.S. Massese, AC Parma, AC Milan and Torino Calcio and the Italian national football team.

In the club
Roberto Mussi began his career in 1981 with the U.S. Massese, for the team he first ran aground in the 1981/82 season in Serie D and 22 games for the graduate of the Tuscan team. In the following season he played 28 games and went on with Massese in the C2 series. After a few games at the beginning of the 1984/85 season he left the club and signed a contract with AC Parma. The defender was already after a short time an important part of the team, but was relegated to the end of the season in the third- highest division. The highlight of his career in the national team was participating in the World Cup 1994., He was summoned by coach Arrigo Sacchi in the Italian squad for the tournament and used in the three games against Nigeria, Bulgaria and Brazil. After winning the semi-final against the Bulgarians, the Italians defeated in the finals in a penalty shoot-out against Brazil.
The defender was also appointed to the squad for the European Football Championship in 1996 and used in the three group matches against Russia, Czech Republic and Germany. Mussi failed with the team in the preliminary round.
