Roy Beerens

Roy John Hendricus Beerens ( born December 22, 1987 in Bladel ) is a Dutch football player. In the 2011/12 season, the striker is at AZ Alkmaar under contract.

Association

Beerens was in the youth academy of PSV Eindhoven, before he was taken to the 2005/06 season in the professional cadres of the Red and Whites. On 25 March 2006 he made ​​his debut in the highest Dutch league. In the 3-0 win over Willem II Tilburg was a substitute against Arouna Koné. National

For the U -21 Football Championship in 2007 Beerens were nominated by coach Foppe de Haan for the squad of U21 in the Netherlands. The team became European Champion at the end of the tournament. Beerens came off the bench in the group match against Portugal and in the semi-final against England. In the penalty shoot against England Beerens had to play twice from point.
