Ruacana is a city in the Omusati Region ( Ovamboland ) in northern Namibia, with a border crossing over the border river Kunene north to Calueque in Angola. Ruacana was a village until the beginning of 2011 and received early February 2011, the city status. It has 2,900 inhabitants.

In the local elections of 2010 following official final result was determined.

Economy and infrastructure
