Sacabamba Municipality

The municipality Sacabamba is a district in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

The municipality Sacabamba is one of four Municipalities of the province of Esteban Arce. It is bordered on the northwest by the province of Cercado, on the west by the province Capinota, to the south by the municipality of Tarata, on the east by the province of Germán Jordán, and in the north east of the province of Chapare.

Geography

The municipality Sacabamba lies between the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Central. The climate is characterized by a typical diurnal climate, in which the temperature fluctuations between day and night is greater than between seasons.
