Sadská

Sadská is a city in fulltext your real estates in the Czech Republic. It lies approximately 7 kilometers southwest of Nymburk left side of the Šembera in the Elbe valley and belongs to the Central Bohemian Region.

History

On a hill above a major trade route from Prague to Silesia was - probably on the site of a Slavic celebrations - a Fuerstenhof, on court days were held in the 12th century. Were the statutes of the Duke Conrad III on the court day of 1189 in Sadska. Otto ( Statuta ducis Ottoni ) adopted, which are among the oldest Czech legislation.

In the immediate vicinity of their court, Duke Bořivoj II in the early 12th century, the collegiate of St.. Apollinaris. This moved the Emperor Charles IV in 1362 in the New Town of Prague, where it found a new home on the mountain wind ( Větrná hora ). However, a monastery of the Augustinian canons is occupied in Sadska for 1363.

Below the hill developed a market settlement, which was collected in 1562 by King Ferdinand I to a royal chamber town. 1665 and 1712 the town was devastated by fire. In the 18th century, built around a mineral spring bath houses and bathing facilities, which later, however, declined in importance. Emperor Joseph II elevated Sadska 1784 royal Kameralstadt.

Attractions

  • The parish church of St. Apollinaris ( Kostel Sv. Apolináře ) was born about 1370. You got Baroque 1737-1739, designed by Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer.
  • The Chapel of the Sorrowful Mother of God ( Kaple Bolestné Panny Marie) in the vicinity of the former health resort was built from 1714 to 1721. The plans come in part from Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer. Between 1775-1779 the small chapel was rebuilt and enlarged.
  • The Plague Column on the marketplace is of 1748.
