Seiya Kishikawa

Seiya Kishikawa (Japanese岸 川 圣 也, Kishikawa Seiya; born May 21, 1987 in Kitakyushu ) is a Japanese table tennis player. He took 2012 for the second time in the Olympic Games in part.

Career

Since 2001, Seiya Kishikawa has performed internationally in appearance. In World Junior Championships he won in 2003 with Minoru Muramori and 2004 with Jun Mizutani the doubles title in 2005 with the Japanese team. He was youth - Asia champion Mixed with Moemi Terui 2005.

At the Asia Championships adults Seiya Kishikawa 2007, 2009 and 2012 reached the final of the team competition. He also came in 2007 and 2009 in mixed doubles semi-finals. Since 2003 (until 2012 ) he was nominated for nine world championships. With the team he won here in 2008, 2010 and 2012 bronze. In 2009 he failed in a double with Jun Mizutani only in the semi-finals.

In 2008 he qualified for the first time to participate in the individual competition of the Olympic Games, where he survived the first round. In 2012 he was nominated again about his world ranking. Here he failed in the quarterfinals of the Chinese Wang Hao.

In the Japanese Championships Seiya Kishikawa won with Jun Mizutani from 2006 to 2009 and again in 2011 in doubles.

Since the early 2000s, Seiya Kishikawa plays at several clubs in Germany, starting in the regional league, and later in the First and Second Bundesliga:
