Seth Rollins
Colby Lopez ( born May 28, 1986 in Buffalo, Iowa), better known by his ring name Seth Rollins current, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently under contract with WWE and appears in their shows. His biggest success was the preservation of the ROH World Championship.
Career
Beginnings / Independent
Lopez was trained by Danny Daniels and debuted in 2005 as Gixx at Scott County Wrestling. Later, Lopez appeared as Tyler Black. This was followed by commitments at various independent promotions (eg IWA Mid-South, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Full Impact Pro, or AAW: Professional Wrestling Redefined ). Together with Marek Brave, he formed the tag team The Black And The Brave. This Lopez won his first title, the NWA Midwest Tag Team Championship. On September 25, 2006 Lopez played a match at Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
On 5 October 2007 Lopez entered the first time in Ring of Honor ( ROH). There he made with Jimmy Jacobs, the tag team The Age Of The Fall. This is followed later Necro Butcher, Joey Matthews, Zach Gowen, Delirious, MsChif and Allison Wonderland joined. On December 30, 2007 Lopez won with Jimmy Jacobs ROH World Tag Team Championship. The title they gave off at No Remorse Corps ( Davey Richards and Rocky Romero ) on 26 January 2008. In May 2008, Lopez began with Jacobs, Delirious and Brodie Lee a feud with Austin Aries and Lacey. On 6 June 2008 Lopez and Jacobs won the ROH World Tag Team Championship once again. In Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Lopez and Jacobs won on 6 July 2008, the PWG World Tag Team Champiobship of Roderick Strong and El Generico. September 19, 2008 Lopez and Jacobs gave the ROH World Tag Team Championship from Kevin Steen and El Generico.
In March 2009, Lopez took part at Westside Xtreme Wrestling ( wXw ) in Germany on 16 Carat Gold Tournament.
13 February 2010 Lopez won the ROH World Championship Austin Aries. On 11 September 2010 he gave the title as a result of the imminent change to WWE, to Roderick Strong.
WWE
Florida Championship Wrestling / NXT
Was in August 2010 announced that Lopez has signed a development contract with WWE. In WWE, he was first employed in Florida Championship Wrestling ( FCW ), where he served as Seth Rollins made his debut on 21 September 2010. On December 7, 2010 Lopez denied a dark match on Smackdown. In FCW he formed with Richie Steamboat a tag team. This Lopez won on March 25, 2011 FCW Florida Tag Team Championship. The title they gave off at Big E Langston and Calvin Raines on May 12, 2011. On 23 February 2012, he won by Leo Kruger the Florida Heavyweight Championship.
Since the dissolution of FCW occur all previous actors in NXT Wrestling. On July 25, 2012 Lopez won the Gold Rush tournament in the final against Jinder Mahal and became the first carrier of the NXT Championship crowned. After his promotion to main roster, he lost the title at the NXT records on December 6, 2012 Big E Langston.
The Shield
On November 18, 2012 Lopez made his debut at the side of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as The Shield at Survivor Series, when they intervened in favor of CM Punk in the WWE Championship match. In the following years completed The Shield feud programs against John Cena, Ryback, Randy Orton, Big Show, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan from the existing and Kane Team Hell No. Of the latter Lopez won together with Roman Reigns on May 19, 2013 St. Louis, the WWE Tag Team Championship. Thereafter, he feuded with his Stablekollegen against the Usos, Daniel Bryan and Rhodes Family, to which they lost the WWE Tag Team Championship on 14 October 2013.
