The Elmore James Blues Shake Your Money Maker The Black Crowes have recorded only from November 1994 their program. In 1999, she published the piece on the album recorded with Jimmy Page Live At The Greek.

At the beginning of the recording sessions, the band was still called Mr. Crowes Garden, but changed their name in the course in The Black Crowes.

During the sessions, 14 pieces were recorded. You're Wrong was released as a B-side, whereas Charming measurement has not been published and played only once live. 1998, published as a bonus track Do not Wake Me was never performed before an audience.

Almost all the pieces were composed shortly before the sessions, exceptions are the cover version of Hard To Handle and the title She Talks To Angels, which was the only piece since 1988 in the program of Mr. Crowe's Garden.

The band was accompanied ( piano / Hammond organ) in the studio of the Southern-/Blues-Rock-Urgestein Chuck Leavell on keyboards. Leavell was since the 1970s, a member of the Allman Brothers Band, toured with the Rolling Stones and played on Eric Clapton's Unplugged, inter alia, CD piano.
