Simoca Department

The department Simoca located in the southeast of the province of Tucumán in northwestern Argentina, and is one of 17 administrative units in the province. It is bordered to the north by the Departamento Leales, on the east by the province of Santiago del Estero, on the south by the Departamento Graneros and to the west by the departments Río Chico, Chicligasta and Monteros. The capital of the department is the city of Simoca.
