Simon Neale

Dave Spoon ( * 1977 in Portsmouth, actually: Simon Neale ) is a British house DJ and producer.

Biography

Simon Neale heard since his youth different styles of electronic music, from synth - pop to acid house, hardcore and drum and bass. In middle school he came into contact with the synthesizers TB -303 and Juno - 60th

In 2004 his production "21st Century" was released on the label Toolroom Records, and received support from DJs such as Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and Erick Morillo. The follow- production "Sunrise" was released by the label Big Love by Seamus Haji.

The breakthrough came in 2006 with Dave Spoon " At Night". The song became a huge dancefloor hit and was played by famous DJs such as Deep Dish and Tiësto. The following year, the song still vocals of Lisa Maffia was added and a " Bad Girl ( At Night ) " it reached # 36 in the UK Singles Chart. In 2008, Spoon has partnered with Sam Obernik and Paul Harris with " Baditude " another hit in the UK Top 40

From February 2008 to May 2009 Spoon the weekly radio show In New DJs We Trust on BBC Radio 1 was a regular in the lineup

Together with Pete Tong Spoon has already published two productions as Tong & Spoon: "Gas Phase" (2008) and " muchness " (2010).
