Simona KrupeckaitÄ—

Simona Krupeckaitė ( born December 13, 1982 in Utena, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian cyclist. She runs track cycling disciplines in short time and is one of the strongest athletes.

Simona Krupeckaitė is active internationally since 2003. Your preferred disciplines are the sprint and the individual pursuit. She has attended numerous top rankings in World Cups, European and World Championships. My biggest success was winning the title at the UCI Track World Championships 2009 in Pruszkow time trial over 500m; while they set a new world record ( 33.296 seconds). Both 2009 and 2010 Krupeckaitė was together with Gintare Gaivenyte third in the team sprint at the Track World Championships, she won the Keirin 2010 the world title.

At the Grand Prix of Moscow presented Simona Krupeckaitė 29 May 2010 a new record over 200 meters with a flying start over 10.793 seconds on. So they broke the old record of 17 years Olga Sljussarewa about 10.831 seconds.
