Sorø Municipality

Soro municipality is a Danish municipality on the island of Zealand. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Soro commune with the former municipalities Diana Lund and Stenlille.

Soro municipality has a total population of 29,288 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​308.30 km ². It is part of Sjælland region. The seat of government is in Soro.
