Souleymane Ndéné Ndiaye

Souleymane Ndiaye in sunbeds ( born August 6, 1958 in Kaolack ) is a Senegalese politician. From 2009 to 2012, he was Prime Minister of Senegal. He is a member of the Senegalese Democratic Party ( PDS).

In 2007 he was briefly Minister of State for Environment and Conservation under Prime Minister Cheikh Hadjibou Soumaré before he was appointed in July 2007 on the State Minister for shipping and fishing.

In the local elections in March 2009, Ndiaye was confirmed as mayor. He was one of the few PDS officials who held their own. After these elections, Prime Minister Soumaré resigned and President Wade appointed the new Prime Minister Ndiaye.
