Srdjan Lakić (2010)
Srdjan Lakić ( born October 2, 1983 in Dubrovnik, also Srdjan Lakić written ) is a Croatian football player.
Association
The beginnings
Lakić began ten years old at the NK Dubrovnik playing football. He took 15 years to Hajduk Split and remained there two years. The striker began his professional career at NK GOŠK Dubrovnik and played until 2005 at NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac before joining for a season to NK Kamen Ingrad.
Hertha BSC
For the 2006/07 season signed Lakić a contract until 2009 with Hertha BSC. On August 13, 2006 ( 1st Round ), he first played in the Bundesliga with a 0-0 draw at VfL Wolfsburg. About a lending transaction, he was then eligible to play from 31 August 2007 for the Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo.
1 FC Kaiserslautern
For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to second division 1 FC Kaiserslautern, for which he ( 1-2 defeat at FC Carl Zeiss Jena) scored his first goal in his first competitive game in the first round of the DFB Cup competition. He was the second best scorer of the Palatinate in his first year. Also a two-month forced break due to a heel injury at the beginning of the season 2009/10 did not bring him out of step with seven goals and he helped that the Kaiserslautern rose up as a master in the Bundesliga at the end of the season. 21 August 2010 (1st Round ) 3-1 win in the away game against FC Cologne 1, he scored his first two Bundesliga matches.
At the beginning of the 2009/10 season Lakić was appointed coach Marco Kurz together with Martin Amedick to the team captain. However Amedick wore the captain's armband, since only one captain must be entered on the scoresheet. This " two-game leader model" had endure even after the Bundesliga rise in 2009/10.
Also in the Bundesliga Lakić proved his goalscoring in the first round, scoring eleven goals. In the second half, however, a longer period of time followed without scoring with moderate performance. Coupled with the fact that in January his move was announced after the season to VfL Wolfsburg with a photo Lakics in the jersey of VfL, this led to a conflict with some of the FCK fans, but was cleaned up again. In the final phase of the season Lakić recorded then several more times as scorer from.

VfL Wolfsburg
For the 2011/12 season Lakić moved free transfer to VfL Wolfsburg and signed a contract for four years until 30 June 2015. He made his debut in the DFB Cup on July 29, 2011 at the 2:3 defeat against RB Leipzig to which he contributed also a gateway to the interim 1:2. His first try in the Bundesliga graduated Lakić in the 0-1 defeat against Bayern Munich on August 13, 2011, when he came on in the 88th minute for Patrick Helmes.
In the following games Lakić was indeed used more often, but he could not convince; he played in the last eight games only twice and was in the last three games before the winter break is not in the squad.
Loan for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
On this occasion Lakić was awarded in the winter break of the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. He should replace the VfB Stuttgart migrated Vedad Ibišević. In his first game for the Frankfurt he scored in a 2-0 away win at Hamburger SV both goals; until the end of the season was followed by two more goals.
Return to Kaiserslautern
On January 31, 2014 Lakić released his run until 30 June 2015 on contract with VfL Wolfsburg and returned to the 2nd Bundesliga back to the 1st FC Kaiserslautern. He signed a contract until the end of the 2013/14 season with an option for another season.
National
Srdjan Lakić graduated in 2005 three games for the U -21 Croatia in qualifying for the U-21 European Championship in Portugal in 2006. On 4 November 2010, the Croatian coach Slaven Bilic nominated him for the European Championship qualifier against Malta for the first time for the Croatian national team. However, he remained without use.
