Steve Hogarth

Steve Hogarth ( born May 14, 1959 in Kendal ) is a British singer and keyboard player. Since 1989 he has been the lead singer of Marillion.

Life

Steve Hogarth (nicknamed " h") was from 1981 and occasionally active as a keyboard player as a singer with " The Europeans ". In 1984 he left and his bandmate, guitarist Colin Woore the band to record under the name " How we live" album ( Dry Land - 1987), which was unsuccessful. Hogarth worked on Toni Childs ' debut album " Union " (1988) as a session musician.

In 1989, he broke Fish from as a singer and frontman of Marillion. After the first two albums with Hogarth, " Seasons End" (1989) and " Holidays in Eden " (1991), released in 1994 the album " Brave ", to which also a musical live action exists, the story of standing on a bridge, represent obviously suicidal young girl in dark images attempted.
