Syrovátka

Syrovátka ( German Sirowatka, 1939-45: whey ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers southwest of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Syrovátka is located on the East Bohemian panel. Through the community's railroad Hradec Králové nad Cidlinou - Chlumec leads, the railway station " Dobřenice " is Syrovátka.

Neighboring towns are Roudnice in the north, Lhota pod Libčany in the northeast, and Hubenice Trávník in the east, and Osice Osičky the southeast, Rohoznice in the south, Dobřenice the southwest, Obědovice in the west and Kratonohy in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was in 1339, when Vanek of the village Ždánice Ždánice sold the monastery Opatovice. In 1399 the place in the country plaque was inscribed as belonging to Jan Tluksa of Čistěves and Syrovátka. At the beginning of the 15th century, the knights of the Dobřenský Dobřenice acquired the goods. After that was possession of Catherine of Onšov, after their death, inherited 1482 King Vladislav II the goods. This ranged Syrovátka to Jan of Onšov on. Shortly thereafter, there was a division of the village. A share received Burjan Stranovský of Sovojovice, the others did in January and Petr V. II Dobřenský. During the time of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia, the town was named Syrovátka / whey; the latter emerged as Germanism of the Czech name. Between 1949 and 1960 Syrovátka belonged to Okres Hradec Králové - okolí and from January 1, 1961 back to Okres Hradec Králové. 1989 Syrovátka was incorporated into Dobřenice. After the Velvet Revolution they became independent again in 1990.
