Terry Kubicka

Terry Paul Kubicka ( born April 3, 1956 in Long Beach, California) is an American former figure skater, who started in a single run.

Kubicka 1974 and 1975 runner-up and 1976 champion at the U.S. Championships. From 1974 to 1976 he participated in the World Championships. He scored his best result in his last World Cup with the sixth place. At the Olympic Games 1976 in Innsbruck, he was seventh. He was the first and only figure skaters who showed a backflip in the free skating program, when he was still allowed, shortly after he was banned.

Kubicka is a technical specialist at the ISU.
