Tervel Dlagnev

Tervel Ivaylov Dlagnev ( born November 19, 1985 in Sofia, Bulgaria) is an American professional wrestler.

Career

Tervel Dlagnev is a native Bulgarian and came in 1989 with his parents to the United States. He attended in Arlington (Texas ) High School where he started in 2000 with the rings. Since 2007, he attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney ( Nebraska). He studied there molecular biology and is trained in wrestling by Mark Manning. Meanwhile naturalized in the United States, he lives in Cedar Falls ( Iowa) and a member of the Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club.

As a high- school wrestler Tervel Dlagnev was not very successful and finished in the championships of the State of Texas only once a third place. As a wrestler at the University of Nebraska, he improved by leaps and bounds and grew with about 120 kg body weight fully into the heavyweight division. He wrestles with the free style.

In 2007, he finished in the NCAA Division II Championships 1st place in the heavyweight division, which he secured in these Championships also in 2008. In the same year he finished 4th at the U.S. Championships of seniors behind Thomas Rowlands, Cole Konrad and Steve Mocco.
