The Quad Resort and Casino

, The Quad Resort and Casino (up to December 2012: Imperial Palace) is a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada.

History

In the years 1959 to 1979, the hotel was called the Flamingo Capri. In November 1979, the resort was renamed the Asia -designed Imperial Palace and transformed. The new owner of the property at that time was the entrepreneur Ralph Engelstad.

In 1981, the first of each 19-story towers room was opened. This year, the car show The Auto Collections has been presented to the public. It is housed in the parking garage of the hotel since the beginning. In 1982, the second 1986, the third room tower followed. A major conversion of the plant was carried out in the years 1987 to 1989. During the work was a fourth hotel tower, and built a pool area with a bar and a spa and fitness area.

1984, a couple was attacked by a man dressed as a staff in his hotel room, tied up and raped. The perpetrator was not caught. Guests sued after the hotel on charges of lack of safety precautions. The process dragged on until 1989, the case was ultimately settled out of undisclosed reasons. In the space of the accusation was the hotel staff had destroyed evidence. After completion of the procedure, however, the hotel was still in the headlines and the criticism of the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Engelstad died in 2002, the end of 2005, the hotel of Harrah's Entertainment (now Caesars Entertainment) bought.

In August 2011, Caesars announced the construction of an entertainment district with the name The LINQ. The development area connects directly to the existing hotel and also covers the area of O'Shea's casino, which was torn down for it now.
