Toguchin
Togutschin (Russian Тогучин ) is a city in the western Siberian Oblast Novosibirsk ( Russia) with 21,900 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).
Geography
The city is located in the southeastern part of the West Siberian Plain, about 125 km east of the Oblasthauptstadt Novosibirsk, the river Inja, a right tributary of the Ob. The climate is continental.
The city is the administrative center of the Togutschin Rajons same name.
History
Togutschin, in its place since the 17th century there existed a village, was created in 1929 as a settlement in the context of the construction of the railway line - Novosibirsk Novokuznetsk and received city rights in 1945.
